Herbst Towing was established in 1978 with a used Ford truck and 440 Holmes wrecker, a dollar, and a dream. Today, Herbst Towing is one of the largest and most respected towing and recovery companies in Nebraska. We are one of the oldest family-owned companies in the state. All of our employees are members of the Herbst family.

In our region, we have led the field by being the first to purchase fully hydraulic tow trucks with wheel-lifts, flatbed carriers, a 50-ton recovery vehicle, air cushions and sliding-axle trailers.
